My teaching experience, and hence the focus of my workshops, is on primary-aged students. Prior to that I was Deputy Principal of Opoutere School for 10 years and have been a primary teacher for over 20 years. I was a Ministry of Education e-fellow in 2006 and am currently a CORE e-fellow. I was voted Microsoft New Zealand Innovative Teacher of the year in 2007 after presenting at the Asia-Pacific Innovative Teachers Conference. I hold a PGDip. in Education (Educational Leadership) and a PGCert. in Technology in Education I have presented at numerous conferences including ULearn Learning@schools and TUANZ. |
